Speed Street

On Friday, we went out with Kelly, Travis, Nick, and Danielle! We were gonna try going bowling but the lanes were closed for league only! GRR! Instead, we went to Happy Hour at Macayo's then went to Speed Street for the boys to race! I tried to get some pictures of them racing but it was too dark! :(

Med-Surg Clinicals are OVER!!

Today was our last day of med-surg clinicals, I cannot tell you how thrilled I am! On May 4th we start OB and Peds, I am super excited to spend time with all the babies!

As of right now I still am very undecided about what kind of nurse I want to be BUT I think I am leaning towards oncology. I guess we will see what the summer brings; the mama's and their babies could change my mind!

Working Out!

I decided to rejoin a gym with some convincing from my friend Megan! Mountainside Fitness is my new home for working out. I am really excited, we have been going on Monday and Tuesday to do cardio and Tuesday night for yoga!

In light of my new routine, I thought I needed some new tennis shoes annnd some new workout attire!

Tonight at Wal-Mart, we were perusing down the movie section and I found the 2nd season of...wait for it...GILLIGAN'S ISLAND!!! I was so excited! I love all the old black and white shows. My all time favorite is I Love Lucy...I already have the complete set!



I have decided that I want all the seasons to all the shows I used to watch as a kid! Shows like, Gilligan's Island, Bewitched, Andy Griffith, Laverne and Shirley, Gidet, The Flying Nun, The Brady Bunch, I Dream of Jeannie, The Munsters, and I am sure there are some I have left out. These shows will be good for my kids to watch instead of all the crap that is on TV these days!
