Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Phoenix, 2009

This morning Megan, Donella, and I volunteered at the Race for the Cure. We had a TON of fun. It was really neat to see all the breast cancer survivors and all the family and friends supporting their loved ones. It was also fun to see all the different shirts people were wearing to support the cause!

"It is the only place we can be excited about our boobs!" - Donella

Next year, I am thinking I might run in the 5K (anyone wanna join?) it will be great exercise before the wedding...the race next year will be on 10.10.10!

Here are some pictures...

This little lady danced her way across the finish line! So cute!

The Dean of GCU's College of Nursing was even there!

Very cool event to volunteer at and quite the T-shirts! I think a bunch of us should try to do it next year!
